Welcome to Dublin
Sunday, May 13th, 2007We arrived in Dublin around 10 AM local time. The flight was great but jet lag was starting to take its toll. So we got our rental car, a Ford Mondeo, and began looking for our hotel. What should have been a 30 minute drive into Dublin became a 3 hour ride from hell. Our maps sucked, as did the directions. We finally made it into Dublin only to find that the street names change name every 100 yards or so. Did I mention they drive on the wrong side of the road. At last we arrived at our hotel.
After checking in we napped for about 5 hours before heading out for dinner. Tomorrow is the Guinness Brewery Tour. I can’t wait…
