Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy
Monday, May 14th, 2007Today we toured Ireland’s #1 tourist attraction, the Guinness St. James’s Gate Brewery. In addition to learning all about Guinness, its history, and brewing process, you get to sample Guinness products. On the fifth floor is the Guinness restaurant where we ate Guinness beef stew with mashed potatoes. Yum! The best part of the stew is that the mashed potatoes are served on top of the stew. Below is a picture of Susan enjoying all of her food touching!
On the seventh floor is the Gravity Bar offering a 360 degree view of Dublin. In case you were wondering, the Guinness does taste different in Ireland than it does in the US. You’ll have to come over and taste for yourself.
So far the highlight of the trip.
